Every Breath I Breathe

In the ferocious tides that rise and crash,
Like my ardent desires that smother and die;
In the hazy phrases I had once engraved,
On the sand of the shores beneath the immense sky.
I look up above at the descending dawn,
Hoping you feel the rhythm of my song.

In the charismatic rays of the vehement sun,
When flowers bloom and blush all day;
When I wait and pluck the petals of memories
Of the moments when I watched your way.
I hear your voice in every talk,
and hear it fade in shades of gray.

In the silent rustle that leaves make
When the morning dew carefully tickles their cheeks;
In the careful hush that winds make
When moments freeze with a blow of breeze;
I breathe your breath and so I breathe
Your name in every breath I breathe...
